LARKANA: Larkana Commissioner Abbas Baloch on Wednesday visited various departments of Chandka Medical College (CMC) Hospital, including emergency wards, cardiology unit and orthopaedic ward, to review provision of basic healthcare facilities.
During his visit, the commissioner inquired about the problems of patients and directed the hospital’s medical superintendent to ensure the provision of basic healthcare facilities in all wards and OPD Block of the hospital.
He took notice of the shortage of Medicines in the hospitals, non-availability of cold water for patients and attendants, improper generators facilities, poor cleanliness and security issues.
The commissioner directed the concerned authorities to resolve basic problems of the patients and warned the negligent officials of stern and legal action.
He directed the administration of CMC Hospital to ensure the quality health services and free medicines to the poor patients.
The Larkana commissioner also visited various sections of the hospitals, The CMC Hospital medical superintendent, senior doctors, RMOs and others were present on the occasion.
