PESHAWAR: A spokesman of Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (PESCO) has said that due to the severe heat wave, the distribution system of the company is under pressure and facing over loading problems in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.
He said that PESCO’s management is making all-out efforts to provide uninterrupted power supply during Seher, Iftar and Taraveeh times.
The spokesman has requested its customers to cooperate and use electricity economically so that overloading can be avoided during Seher, Iftar and Taraveeh. An appeal was made to minimise the use of air-conditioners as well, with the thermostat kept on 26 degrees Celsius. Users of illegal electricity were also requested to avoid electricity waste.
