SSP Investigation Ghulam Mubashar Makain on Monday held a meeting with all of the divisional SPs at Qila Gujjar Singh Headquarters here regarding cases on narcotics. He constituted anti-narcotics squads to curb the drug epidemic in the city.
As per the details, one sub inspector (SI) and one constable have been deputed circle wise in every division. Every SI would conduct investigation on ten cases related to drug use. Motorbike will be provided to the in charge SI of the drug squad to perform duty efficiently. One meeting will be held in every month on the narcotics cases.
