ISLAMABAD: At least 100 federal education institutions under Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) are lacking heads.
The education institutions are running without principals and vice-principals, while the important slots are handed over to junior officers.
There are around 52 principals and 91 vice principals in 155 boys’ education institutions. Among the 55 education institutions, 45 are located in urban while 10 are located in rural areas of the city. At least 100 educational institutions are handed over to junior teachers.
According to sources, the majority of principals make their transfers in education institutions closer to their houses to avoid any difficulties in travelling and other expenses.
