The second match of ICC Champions Trophy between Australia and New Zealand ended in a draw due to rain at Birmingham on Friday night.

Batting first, New Zealand made 291 all out in 45 overs.

Chasing a revised target of 235 in 33 overs, Australia were 53 for the loss of 3 wickets in 9 overs when rain stopped the match.

Both the teams were given one point each.

In Saturday’s fixture, Sri Lanka will meet South Africa at the Oval whereas Pakistan will take on arch rivals India at Birmingham on Sunday.

Sri Lanka won the toss and have asked South Africa to bat first.
