Film-maker Rajkumar Hirani’s yet untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic will release on March 30 next year.
It is a biographical drama film, written and directed by Hirani, and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
The movie is part of a three-film deal signed by Fox Star Studios with Hirani and Chopra, read a statement issued on Friday.
From undergoing intense workout sessions to experimenting with hairstyles for different scenes, Ranbir Kapoor is surely going that extra mile for the Sanjay Dutt biopic.
Previously, a source told Bollywood Life that Ranbir will now be dancing to one of the 57-year-old star’s iconic numbers – the Khalnayak title track. “The song hasn’t been shot yet. They have only been rehearsing because the idea is to complete the scenes first,” said the source. It would indeed be a delight to watch the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor groove to the tunes of Nayak Nahi Khalnayak Hoon Mein.
Sanjay Dutt’s biopic features Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist of the movie. It also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Karishma Tanna, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza and Jim Sarbh.
