Police releases sketch of suspected kidnapper of Chinese couple

QUETTA: The police has released an initial sketch of the suspected kidnapper of the two Chinese couple that was abducted from Jinnah Town on May 24.

The Chinese pair, identified as Li Zang Hing and Ming Leassi Ha, were working at a Korean centre nearby Jinnah Town and had been teaching Korean language to the area residents for more than a year.

The foreign nationals had gone to eat at a local restaurant when they were kidnapped by four unidentified men who took them away in a car. Moreover, a security guard was also injured by the gunmen when he tried to stop the kidnapping.

Following the kidnapping, the police formed a three-member investigation team under the leadership of DIG Counter-Terrorism Department to probe the case. The team also includes SSP Investigation and SP Saddar.
