Dr Asim Hussain has predicted that nothing is going to be proved in the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and Nawaz Sharif is merely tricking the nation.
During an informal talk with media personnel in Accountability Court on Saturday, Dr Asim said that nothing will be proved in JIT.
He stressed that the name of Hussain Nawaz and other people should also be put on ECL like his name was placed in ECL. Justice should be done on the principle of equality, he added.
He alleged that the NAB chairman had taken a bribe from Nawaz Sharif, therefore, he had neither instituted cases against him nor Sharif was sent to jail. The prime minister should be tried under Article 6, Asim suggested.
Responding to a question that why PPP was silent on this matter, he said that Imran had lodged complaint against Nawaz and his sons; so when two boxers are fighting, then the third should wait for the right moment.
