Ken Sid, a Pakistani national, reached out to Sushma Swaraj on twitter for a medical visa for his son has a heart complication that cannot be treated in Pakistan, according to Times of India.

“He is my son,” tweeted Sid. “He does not even know what is happening between India and Pakistan.”

Swaraj replying to the father’s tweet said, “No, this child will not suffer. Please contact Indian High Commission in Pakistan. We will give the medical visa.”

Swaraj’s reply was highly appreciated in both India and Pakistan.

“It is heartening to see humanity prevailing despite many differences,” tweeted the child’s father after Swaraj’s reply. “Thank you for your efforts. Humanity prevails! God bless everyone.”
