DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has directed a complete audit of the security of Chinese nationals. During Ramzan, search operations, mock exercises and snap checking must be enhanced, he said while addressing a session of superintendents of police at office, on Thursday.
On this occasion, SP security Ibadat Nisaar, SP Headquarters Atif Nazeer, SP anti-riot Muhammad Naveed and all other divisional SPs were present.
Dr Haider Ashraf told that the Chinese officials working on various government and private projects must be provided fool-proof security and their work places and houses must be secured altogether. Focal persons must be made responsible to tally the movements of these Chinese officials and the security personnel must be briefed about every security protocol and its urgency.
He also claimed that during the Ramzan, the Police Response Unit (PRU) will remain vigilant during Sehar timings, and the Dolphin will be alert during Iftaar, making sure that all entry-exit points are effectively patrolled.
He also claimed that they were trying their best to provide police stations with increased personnel and patrol cars as per requirements.
SP Ibadat Nisar, on this occasion, said that all the SP offices have a fully working complaint management system to ensure justice for all citizens.
