BAHAWALNAGAR: Security forces on Friday foiled a major terror bid in Bahawalnagar and arrested at least four terrorists from Manchanabad area. As per details, the terrorists were installing explosive material near a sensitive building. Weapons and explosive material were also recovered from the possession of the suspects.
Meanwhile, two most-wanted terrorists Illyas and Daud were apprehended from Mandni area of Charsadda who were alleged of being involved in 109 terror activities. Two suicide vests, 30kg explosives, nine missiles and nine rocket launchers were recovered from a house after the identification of terrorists.
According to DPO Charsadda Sohail Khalid, the terrorists belong to TTP Sheikh Khalid group and were arrested after a tip-off was provided by the intelligence agencies. Moreover, an escaped suspect Sajid Zamam carries Rs15 lac head money.
