Lahore: During an early morning raid by the LDA against illegal elevations in the Sabzazar area of Lahore, some people belonging to the ‘land mafia’ launched an attack on the LDA officials and officials from law enforcement agencies.
LDA officials carried out a raid on illegal shops built on plot number 11-H1 in Sabzazar in the early hours of Thursday. Police officials were also present during this operation. During the sealing process, however, some people present in the shops launched a physical assault on the officials present.
The situation was eventually brought under control by the police officials present there.
State officer overlooking the operation, Aqeel Ikram has launched a complaint in the Sabzazar police station against the incident.
