Karachi: A fire that had erupted in a cardboard factory in Karachi’s Bhangoria Goth early Thursday morning, was doused after five hours, according to the fire department.
As many as six fire tenders, one water browser, and one water tanker were used to control the blaze. Currently, the cooling process is under way, according to the fire department
As the fire broke out, at least three workers got injured while jumping out of a third-floor window in an attempt to escape the fire, according to fire dept officials.
The fire department officials have revealed that there was no emergency exit or a fire fighting system in the factory.
No casualties had been reported in the incident. Source of the fire is yet to be determined.
