KARACHI: Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Administrator Brig Shahid Hassan Ali on Thursday visited the DA Neelum High School located near Zamzama Park in DHA Phase-V.
A DHA official said that despite the school’s space/building constraints and formative stage, it is imparting high-quality education to students and showing excellent results at board level.
A brilliant student of the school got the third position in Matriculation Examination 2016 of Board of Secondary Education Karachi which is a source of pride and honour for the institution.
Brig Shahid during his visit met the teaching faculty and staff of the school.
He appreciated the school’s teachers for their hard work, dedication and devotion to the cause of education.
The administrator also saw the development works undertaken for vertical expansion of the school building. A lightweight structure/shed has been erected on the rooftop of the second floor to create more rooms/space in the school.
The administrator appreciated the quality and standard of development work undertaken and hoped that additional space will ease the impediment of overcrowded classrooms and help in further enhancing the teaching and academic standards of the school.
As a token of appreciation, he gave a donation of rupees two million to the school, rupees one million each to Boys and Girls Sections for their welfare/well-being.
