Women resource centre in Kinnaird College Lahore will be a milestone: Khalil

Provincial Minister for Minorities and Human Rights Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that the women resource centre in Kinnaird College will be essential for educating women. The minister expressed his gratitude to the Australian government for playing an important role in building this centre.

The minister expressed these views while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Women Resource Centres at Kinnaird College. MPA Kanji Ram, Kinnaird College Principal Rukhsana David, Kinnaird College Vice Principal Dr Nighat Khan, President of FACES Pakistan Javaid William were also present on the occasion.

Australian High Commissioner Margaret Adamson also expressed her views with a talk to media persons; she said that it is a great honour for her to be a part of this initiative. She also said that the Australian government is keen to strengthen relations with Pakistan.

Provincial Minister Humanities Khalil Tahir Sandhu while speaking to the media said that such centres are helpful for those ladies who belong to the deprived areas like those of Southern Punjab.
