Soaring temperatures to persist in Sindh, Balochistan

KARACHI: The city will continue to experience hot weather on Wednesday (today) with maximum temperatures in the provincial capital likely to touch 36 degree Celsius; however, its intensity will be felt as 45 degree due to increased humidity level.

With 34°C in the morning, Karachi will witness sunny to partly cloudy and very warm weather today, Met Office predicted,  adding that other cities of Sindh will continue to experience severely hot temperatures.

The current heat wave will continue to persist in Balochistan where 54°C was recorded in Turbat area on Sunday.

Jacobabad, Dadu, Larkana and Sukkur are likely to touch 51°C today.

On the other hand, rain with thunderstorm brought relief to people in different parts of the country including Islamabad, Sialkot, Gujrat, Murree, Sahiwal, Rawalakot and Kotli, Muzaffarabad.

The weather is expected to remain hot and dry in Sindh and Balochistan.
