PM Nawaz orders action against Nehal Hashmi

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has immediately summoned Nihaal Hashmi to the PM House and has ordered disciplinary action against him.

He has been asked to clarify his statement about the JIT and SC judges.

The PM said that with this statement Nehal Hashmi has violated the party discipline.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nehal Hashmi had threatened  people demanding accountability of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.

He warned that all those who are holding the Sharif family accountable and are demanding accountability of the PML-N family are serving today but will retire tomorrow and will have to be accountable themselves. “All of you who are asking for accountability will not be spared,” Hashmi said. He added that they will make Pakistan a difficult country for them to live in.

“You are making life of PM Sharif difficult. The Pakistani nation will make life difficult for you,” Hashmi said. He further said while talking to a local media outlet that he spoke against all those who are trying to stop Pakistan from developing.

Commenting on statement by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nehal Hashmi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman, Fawad Chaudhry said Hashmi’s statement is tantamount to sedition and rebellion, as it is a direct threat to the apex court especially the two judges who gave dissenting note in Panama verdict.
