Residents of Lahore are advised to be cautious as fake teams claiming to be officials of Sui Northern Gas Company are on the rise again. These teams are taking money in the name of putting new metres and there have been reports of mobile phone thefts by these fake officials as well.
People who have been effected by these teams have sought help from the police after registering FIR’s against the culprits who claim they have been looted by these teams in various ways like asking for a mobile phone to call their supervisor and then running away with it.
It should be noted that two such teams came forward some time back as well when such teams blackmailed people of cutting their connection if they didn’t pay them. However, no steps have been taken by Sui Northern Gas Company to apprehend the culprits yet.
