PESHAWAR: Four people reportedly died and one was wounded when unidentified people fired at their car near the suburban area of Matani late Monday night.
The deceased include Matani aman lashkar (peace committee) leader Irshad and his colleagues Waheed, Muhammad Ali, and Imtiaz, the police informed. The injured identified as Mohsin is claimed to be a friend of the deceased.
As per reports to security officials, Mohsin has been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, while the bodies have been transferred to Khyber Medical College mortuary.
According to police reports, the firing incident allegedly took place due to a prolonged personal enmity.
