ISLAMABAD: As per police reports, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped from the Naval Complex on May 26. The girl’s father lodged a case against alleged kidnapping with the Margalla police.
In another incidence, Khanna police have detained six people suspected to have been involved in kidnapping a married woman from the Khanna area. The woman’s husband lodged a complaint on Saturday. However, the FIR was registered over two months after the incident. The police have claimed that the delay in lodging the FIR was because the complainant reported the case late.
A police investigator is reported to have said that the six nominated suspects were relatives of the woman. He further added that the whereabouts of the missing woman are yet to be ascertained. Furthermore, no arrests related to the case have been made as yet.
