Ramazan will begin on the Sunday, May 28 according to an announcement made by the Chairman of Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Pakistan, Mufti Munibur Rehman, in a press conference held after the official meeting of the committee was concluded on Friday in Islamabad.
“The Holy month of Ramazan would now begin from May 28,” the chairman announced.
Zonal committees also met in the provincial capitals to carry out moon sightings.
