LAHORE: According to a survey conducted by a local news channel, the new overhead and underpass constructed on Main Boulevard are affecting the business of Siddique Trade Centre, located on Main Boulevard in the Gulberg area of Lahore.
Traders Azeem Khan, Rana Zafar and Qaiser Mian while talking to the survey team said that majority of traders are not happy with this recent development.
They said that there was a time when this centre was the hub of Lahore since it was located in the middle of the city, but now after the construction of the overhead bridge, customers are finding it increasingly difficult to approach the building.
He said that if the condition continues, these traders will have to take to streets. Traders named Rana Imran, Mohammed Usman Attique said that the management of Siddique Trade Centre is to be blamed as well since it is partially because of the poor management that the Siddique Trade Centre has lost its glory.
They also mentioned that just like anywhere else in the country the trade centre also has a security threat but nobody from the administration is paying any heed to it. And this carelessness might result in an accident.
