CTO lauds ethics training of traffic wardens

Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) SSP Rai Ijaz Ahmad said that the City Traffic Police Lahore (CTPL) has entered a new era by conducting ethics training of traffic wardens on regular basis. He said that this is the legacy of shaheed DIG Traffic Capt. (R) Syed Ahmad Mobin. The shaheed DIG, he added, had a great vision and he scarified his life in the line of duty.

He said that for the ethics training of the traffic wardens, the department is conducting training sessions in every traffic sector.

Allah sent His Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) to the world, he said, with great moral values and that his followers should behave in a polite manner and avoid hurting others.

Traffic Wardens are also getting first aid training by the Red Crescent employees in every training session, for any emergency situation that may occur on roads, he said.

He expressed these views while addressing a special training session for Traffic Wardens at Red Crescent Head Office. He said that he was thankful to the ex-captain of Pakistan cricket team for joining him on the occasion and giving a special lecture to the traffic wardens.

Former captain of Pakistan cricket team Mushtaq Ahmad said that he was happy to be there for the purpose of ethics training of the traffic wardens, who do not hesitate to perform their duties even in harsh weather conditions. He added that he salutes them for serving the people on roads. He added that the traffic wardens have responsibilities regarding their behavior towards road users; it is a virtue, he said to help the pedestrians in crossing roads.

Mushtaq further said that Lahore CTO Rai Ijaz Ahmad is an honourable man and that he hopes that the traffic wardens will become the symbol of respect and peace.
