CM discusses Orange Line project with China Railway

A delegation led by the President of NORINCO, China Railway called on the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Beijing and discussed the development on Orange Line Metro Train Project. While talking to the delegation of NORINCO, China Railway, the chief minister said that the Orange Line Metro Train Project has heralded a new era in Pakistan’s transport industry, and that after the inauguration of the orange line project the setting up of more such projects will also be considered. He said that the Orange Line Metro Train Project is being made for the common man’s comfort; and vowed that all the difficulties arising in this regard would be removed by him, personally. He said that different projects are being initiated in the Punjab in collaboration with China, and that the people of Pakistan are benefitting from growing economic collaboration between the two countries. He maintained that the Lahore Orange Line Metro Train Project is a gift of Pak-China friendship to the people. High quality work is being done on civil works of the project. This project would be a masterpiece of architecture, transparency and high quality.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif met with a high level delegation of Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology led by Director Luv Min in Beijing, today. The attendees of the meeting agreed to extend cooperation in industry and information technology sectors.
