Beijing: Chief Minister of Punjab, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif made a key address to One Belt, One Road forum on Sunday.
The address was made verbally by the CM. He termed the vision of OBOR as a splendid initiative. Mr Shahbaz was the only provincial representative participant who addressed the forum.
The Chinese government had specially invited the CM Punjab to participate and address the forum.
World leaders attending the conference appreciated the address of Mr Shahbaz and lauded his efforts to ensure all round development in Punjab.
The invitation of Mr Shahbaz to address the forum was an acknowledgement of strengthening relations between Pakistan and China. It is important to reiterate that Mr Shahbaz was the only provincial representative attending to be endowed with the honour to address the OBOR forum.
