Women swimming team win bronze medal at Islamic solidarity games

BAKU: Pakistan’s women swimming team won a bronze medal at the 4th Islamic solidarity games in Baku in women’s 4x200m freestyle competition, on Monday. 

The women swimming team included Kiran Khan, Bisma Khan, Jehanara Nabi and Mishael Aisha Ayub, and finished third by clocking 10:02.14.

They have won two bronze and one silver medal in the competition and have achieved an overall fourth place in the competition.

Furthermore, Pakistan’s tennis team, comprising of Aqeel Khan, Abid Mushtaq and Muzail Murtaza, qualified for the final after winning all the matches and topping the group.

Pakistan team will face Turkey on Monday in the final.

Azerbaijan remained on top on third day followed by Turkey, Indonesia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Algeria, Egypt, Bangladesh, Kirgizstan, Tunisia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
