Lahore: Fire destroys 30 camps set up for Orange train project workers

LAHORE: A massive fire erupted in the camps near Lahore’s Chowk Yateem Khana vicinity on Monday, destroying over 30 tents. 

The blaze first erupted in a makeshift camp, rapidly spreading to the nearby tents.

The effected campsite was put up for construction workers employed by the Orange Train Project,

Fire brigade reached the spot and is still working to bring the fire under control.

Two construction workers were injured while attempting to douse the fire.

The injured are being shifted to the nearby hospital.

No casualties have been reported as yet.
