Two security forces personnel were injured when some assailants attacked and fired a mortar shell from Afghanistan side at a post at Shaheedano Dand, Kurram Agency on Friday.
The forces also claimed foiling an act of terror just on Pak-Afghan border at Burki, Kurrami Agency.
The officials informed that unknown militants from across the border attacked the security forces check post at Shaheedano Dand Kurram Agency. As a result of attack two security personnel were injured. The injured were shifted to the Agency Headquarter Hospital in Parachanar where they were stated out of danger. The security forces also retaliated and targeted hideout of militants. However, there is no further detail.
Similarly, officials in Kurram Agency said that security forces foiled an attempt of terror with shooting a vehicle loaded with explosive material in Burki, near to Parachanar. The explosive-laden vehicle was making an attempt to enter Kurram Agency.
