Lahore zoo’s major attraction, beloved elephant ‘Suzi’ is no more

Lahore: Lahore Zoo’s beloved female elephant Suzi, died after an acute pain in her legs early on Saturday morning.

According to reports, zoo administration also has to be blamed for the lack of attention and giving the elephant in care of inexperienced veterinary doctors.

Officials of the zoo administration said Suzi had been transported to Pakistan in the late 1980s and was around 35 years old.

They added that the female elephant had reached her natural life span limit.
