CM visits the residence of 13 years old victim boy Irfan

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the residence of a 13-year-old victim boy, Irfan in Macharwali Village in Nankana Sahib today. The chief minister met with Irfan, whose hand was chopped off in torture. He enquired the details of the incident from the victim and his family members.

While talking to Irfan and his family members, the CM said that he has come here to share the pain and grief of the victim family. He told them that a high-level committee has been constituted comprising of honest officers to investigate the matter. He assured them that the matter would be investigated upon in a very transparent and impartial manner; and added that the accused would be brought to justice at any cost. The chief minister expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the aggrieved family and said that anybody found involved in this horrendous incident would not go scot-free.

The chief minister further said that a prosthetic hand would be arranged for the 13-year-old. The expenses of the child’s education would be borne out by the Punjab government, the CM said and that free medical facility will also be provided to the aggrieved family.

While constituting a high-level inquiry committee to investigate the incident, the chief minister told that Chief Minister’s Inspection Team and RPO Sargodha will be the members of the committee. The chief minister directed the committee members to reach the site of the incident to develop a report on the investigation. The chief minister assured the aggrieved family that he will personally supervise the investigation.

The chief minister expressed his utmost displeasure over the delay in the registration of FIR and inquired that when the mother of the 13-year-old reached the police station on 7 May, why was the FIR not filed till the 8 May?

The chief minister offered the family financial assistance and said that all-out cooperation and support would be provided to the victim.

Chief minister also announced free medical treatment to the ailing paternal grandfather of Irfan. The family of the victim will also be provided with free medical treatment facilities.

  1. No amount of cash or such visits will ever absolve you of the Murder of 15 persons in Modal Town and later letting key witness away and making the actual killer a Minister! Allah ki lathi be awaz hay.
