Another dead body was found in the area of P.S. Koral, onThursday afternoon, police confirmed. The body of a 20-year-old boy was found from the area of Sharifabad.
P.S. Koral Sub-Inspector Saif Ullah spoke to Pakistan Today and said that apparently there were no wounds found on the dead body. He said that no wallet or national identity card was found near the body. He said it seemed like a murder and the body was sent for the postmortem to the polyclinic hospital today (Friday) for further investigation.
He said that the police made announcements through mosques for hours in the area to invite people to identify the dead, but of no avail.
On February 8, a body of a girl, 17, was found and it remained unidentified for months and then, was buried by the local police.
Islamabad Police found a body of a teenage girl in the wee hours of Wednesday from a dense forest of Simli Dam.
Police said that the girl was aged between 16 and 17 and apparently there was no sign of physical or sexual abuse on her body.
The postmortem report would take two months as the detailed report is to be compiled in Lahore. The dead body was found near a shrine and it was suspected that she might have suffered an epileptic attack.
She was found strongly gripping a tree branch, which could be a case of murder so it cannot be said that the 17 year-old-girl was killed and then thrown into the woods.
He said that Islamabad Police had found nothing with her too; no ID card, no wallet, no mobile phone or any other thing which could identify her. The dead body seemed 12 to 18 hours old when it was found.
Another police official said that she might be strangled to death in the forest as there were some marks found on her mouth and a slight mark was located on her neck.
