Rawalpindi: A physically challenged journalist, Nayyar Javaid is reported to have been robbed the other day in a busy commercial area.
Javaid, an employee of Radio Pakistan, informed the police that two unidentified men snatched cash from him, as he came out of an ATM booth in Commercial Market near the New Town police station. Police are reported to have registered the case to carry out an investigation. The victim provided the registration number of the motorbike of the accused to the police.
Javaid also informed the police that the mugger peeped into the ATM booth while Javaid was withdrawing cash from the ATM machine. He added that the CCTV footage from the bank could prove helpful in identifying the robber.
