KHAIRPUR: A female student studying Botany in Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) Khairpur has gone missing under mysterious circumstance as relatives failed to establish contact with her.
According to the university administration, Fozia Parveen a student of MSc final year Botany mysteriously went missing three days ago whose whereabouts are still unknown.
The family apprised media that the student’s number is constantly off.
Brother of the missing girl, Wasim dispelled the possibility that the girl might have joined an extremist group.
He said that his sister has no inclination towards religious extremism and family is undergoing severe distress after she has gone missing.
The missing girl Fozia Pervez came with her brother Wasim Channar from Tharo Shah City to appear in the examination at SALU Khairpur.
Meanwhile, the university’s vice-chancellor called a high-level meeting in this regard.
