Weather: Scorching heat, dry weather expected

KARACHI: Most parts of the country will be hit by scorching heat on Thursday including Sindh, South and East Punjab. 

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), hot temperatures are expected all over the country, however, a few places in Makran, Kalat, Larkana, Rawalpindi, Sargodha divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, might experience light rain.

The maximum temperature in Karachi would be between 35 to 37 degrees whereas it will escalate to 43 degrees in Lahore.

The concerned department has warned the locals of severe hot weather and advised them to take precautionary measures to beat the heat.

Dadu 49°C, Larkana, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Rahim yar khan 48°C, Khanpur, Bahawalnagar 47°C.
