KARACHI: The police and intelligence agencies claimed to have arrested three suspected persons, while impounding prohibited literature from suspects’ possession, during search operations in different areas of Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Tipu Sultan area of Karachi.
On a tip-off, the personnel conducted search operation in different areas of Karachi and rounded up five suspected persons, including three proscribed outfit members.
The Rangers personnel conducted snap checking in Hassan Square and old Sabzi Mandi areas of Karachi on Tuesday and checked the credentials of drivers and vehicles entering the City.
The police conducted a search operation in Fish Market and arrested drug peddlers, while impounding over half a kilogramme of charas, from suspects’ possession.
Suspected persons have also been arrested in PIB Colony, while weapons and drugs have also been recovered from suspects’ possession.
Meanwhile, a body of a person was found near a truck station in Shah Lateef Town area. The identity of deceased could not be ascertained as yet.
