MIRPURKHAS: The Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested 15 suspected persons from different areas and recovered arms, liquor, hashish and gutka from their possession.
According to a statement issued by SSP Mirpurkhas Kamran Nawaz, the arrested accused include Asif Arain, Asif Shar, Tekum Das Meghwar, Hassan Ali Malik, Muhammad Ramzan Malik, Anwar Makrani, Muhammad Raees Memon, Hanif Khoso, Kashif Abbasi, Muhammad Hanif, Pir Bakhsh Khoso, Mureed alias Bholu Chandio and others.
The police recovered 1190 litres of liquor, 4215 grammes of Hashish, 1948 packets of gutka and 2 unlicensed pistols with 7 rounds from the possession of arrested accused.
The accused were arrested during different raids in the areas, including Jhuddo, Naukot, Kot Ghulam Muhammad, Dilbar Khan Mahar, Tando Jan Muhammad, Mirpur Old, Mirwah, Garibabad and others.
