Despite objections and protests by the citizens of Badin, the education department of Badin disregarded the citizen’s protests and allowed a medical camp at Govt Girls Iqra High School Badin and sent hundreds of students on leave.

According to details, more than 900 students, including 500 girls and 400 boys of the second shift of Govt Girls Iqra School were sent on leave as a medical camp was organised at school by a local private medical centre.

Despite protests and objections of citizens, enrolled students including boys and girls were sent to leave on Friday as medical camps were organised at School when electricity, water and others required facilities were also provided to the private centre for medical camp.

While talking to media, Ghulam Hussain, Aijaz Khawaja, Khuda Bux, Hanif Sehrat and others termed the decision unfair to the students and injustice with the parents of students. They maintained as there were many venues available in Badin, like Bilawal Park, City OPD building and others, but holding camp in a school was inappropriate by the education department.

They demanded from the higher authorities to take action against the education authorities for such irresponsible action.
