KARACHI: Sindh’s School Education Department in collaboration with the Plan International will launch the province’s first Early Childhood Care and Education Policy (ECCE) on May 6 at a local hotel here.
National Assembly Member and SZABIST Chancellor Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho will be the chief guest of the ceremony, said a statement on Thursday.
Sindh Education and Literacy Department Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, School Education Department Secretary Abdul Aziz Uqaili, Curriculum Wing Head Dr Fouzia Khan, ECCE Provincial Coordinator and Schools Additional Secretary Imtiaz Bhatti, and Chief Programme Manager and Reform Support Unit Faisal Ahmed Uqaili, the UNICEF and Plan International representatives, and others will also speak on the occasion.
