PPP’s Faisal Sualeh Hayat injured in road accident

FAISALABAD: PPP leader Faisal Saleh Hayat was injured in a road accident at the motorway, late Wednesday night. 

The car of of Faisal Saleh Hayat collided with a trailer near Ameenpur, as per the Motorway police. As a result, the PPP leader and his driver were injured.

They were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital. The condition of the driver is stated to be critical. However, the condition of Hayat was out of danger, hospital sources said.

Police said that overspeeding caused the accident.

Faisal Sualeh Hayat was appointed as President Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Punjab, the other day. This decision has been taken by PPP’s Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in an attempt to change the party structure in Punjab. Hayat is due to be visiting Punjab just after the conclusion of Urs of Hazrat Shah Jewna on May 10, especially to persuade the old leaders of PPP to join the party again.
