PPP protests against loadshedding in Lahore’s Nasir Bagh

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday set up a protest camp against load shedding in Lahore’s Nasir Bagh.

PPP workers demanded the government to fulfil the promise to provide electricity.

Convoys from different districts of Punjab including Lahore joined the protest. PPP Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira has warned that if the government tries to disrupt the protest, it will have to face the consequences.

The leader of the opposition in National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, leader of the Opposition in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan, Manzoor Wattoo and others addressed the camp.
