NAWABSHAH: Nawabshah Thalassemia Centre Secretary and renowned child specialist Dr Sadiq Siyal said that 1,200 thalassemia child patients are registered at Nawabshah Thalassemia Centre for the treatment.
Talking to APP here on Thursday, during his visit to the Sakrand Press club, Dr Siyal said that blood for thalassemia patients is collected through donation camps organised by different NGOs; blood is first tested at the camps and again at the Centre, he added.
Dr Siyal disclosed that a philanthropist has offered her valuable bungalow for the expansion of the Thalassemia Centre at a low price.
