ISLAMABAD: Following rain and hailstorm in various cities of the country, sunny and dry conditions are likely to prevail today. Light rainfall in Islamabad and strong winds in Lahore the other day lowered the temperature but the temperatures are expected to rise today. In the next 48 hours, mainly hot and dry weather conditions are expected in most parts of the country.
However, light rain-thunderstorm is forecasted at a few places in Malakand division, Hazara, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan. Temperatures of some major cities recorded on Thursday morning are: Islamabad and Gilgit 15°C, Lahore 22°C, Karachi 28°C, Peshawar 18°C, Quetta 12°C, Muzaffarabad 13°C, Murree 11°C.
