The chief minister, while talking to the newly elected representatives of the PML-N, said that Pakistan is progressing towards prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said that load-shedding will end with the completion of the energy projects in 2018. Transparency maintained in the projects carried out in this government’s tenure is unprecedented in the country’s history, he added.
He said that the enlightened people of Pakistan were aware of the opposition’s intentions behind their allegations. Those who allege the government of corruption are themselves involved in graft, such as land grabbing and writing off of loans.
“Niazi Sahib go and chastise those who wrote hefty loans off and those who grab land of the poor instead of hurling allegations at the government whose governance has been as transparent as it possibly could” CM said.
He said that lock down of Islamabad by the PTI was an impediment to economic development of the nation.
The chief minister said that the energy crisis will end under the leadership of PM Nawaz Sharif, once the ongoing projects are complete. He added that the agriculture sector of Pakistan would reap benefits from these projects too.
“Economy is strengthening due to the policies of the PML-N government and thousands of new employment opportunities are being created which is worrying the political opponents of the PML-N” he said.
Three gas based energy projects that would add 3600MW to the national grid are all set to complete, whereas, the Bhikki power project would add 717 MW to the national grid.
