SPSC invited applications for the posts of combined competitive exam in the year 2013. After many hiccups, the written exams were held in April 2015, followed by the interviews and final result in the year 2016 that declared 227 candidates successful.
All such process which was spread over two to three years was declared null and void by the Supreme Court due to ineligibility of the chairman of SPSC.
It shall be noted that before the intervention of court, the candidates were successfully able to complete all the due process after the reception of appointment letters i.e. Police verification and Medical Clearance. They also left their previous Jobs and given this, many were not able to join any other service (that they cleared during that period once they received offer letters).
I am one of the affected candidates of the decision and pray the Honourable Supreme Court Chief Justice and The Honourable Supreme Court Judges to look into the matter as the matter has much depth to it, whereas candidates are not to be blamed for the faults of Sindh Government (as per the very own judgment)
