Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that politics of baseless allegations, agitation and anarchy will not succeed.

Those who are against the progress and development of this nation are enemies of Pakistan and they just want to achieve their personal agenda and have nothing to do with welfare of the masses, CM said.

The priorities of former rulers were something else and that is why the problems of masses have increased, he added.

He said that ongoing progress and development in the country is a setback for political opponents. While talking to Members of National Assembly, the Chief Minister said people of Pakistan only want progress and resolution of their problems.

The plundering of national wealth by Asif Zardari and baseless allegations of Imran Khan have spread enough pessimism in the masses, he added.

On one hand, former rulers, with an acute vision worsened the country’s economy while there is ‘a dharna group’ who tried to spread chaos and anarchy to impede Pakistan’s journey of progress, on the other. Had the former rulers paid attention to the challenges faced by the people instead of looting, today, the situation would have been different, he added.

He said that enlightened people of Pakistan have rejected the negative politics of some political elements who were opposed to national development and prosperity.

He said that these elements had devised conspiracies against the government that could have proven costly for the nation. The chief minister said that the enlightened people of Pakistan would reject all parties agians the PML-N in the elections of 2018.

He said that Pakistan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, is moving towards progress and development which was once dreamt by Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.

He said that the continuous efforts of PML-N government are bearing fruits. He said the PML-N government has made certain that national resources are put to good use.

Shehbaz Sharf said that the nation was saved, billions of rupees by the government by maintaining transparency in their projects. He said there is need for politics of service and not politics of accusation.
