Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to initiate six hydel power projects in different parts of the province.
According to the officials, these projects will be completed at the cost of $1.5 billion on the basis of public-private partnership.
Four of these power projects will be constructed in the Malakand division while two power projects will be constructed in the Hazara division.
These projects upon completion will generate 518MW of electricity.
