13 judicial officers were sacked in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the directives of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (PHC) Yahya Afridi.
According to the registrar PHC, disciplinary proceedings were underway against the sacked lower court judges. He added that during the proceedings the judges could not satisfy the disciplinary committee after which they were sacked.
Those judges who were fired include a district and session judge (ADJ), seven additional districts and session judges (AD and SJ), two senior civil judges and three civil judges.
A female additional districts and session judge Riffat Amir is also among those sacked judicial officers. She is the wife of a sitting AD and SJ Aamir Nazir.
The names of sacked judges are ADJ Sardar Muhammad Irshad, seven AD and SJs Qaiser Rahim, Manzoor Qadir, Abdul Hakeem Hashmi, Amjad Makhdoom, Amjad Rahim, Mohsin Ali Turk, two senior civil judge Safer Qaiser, Malik Adil Akbar Khan and three civil judges Rashid Rauf, Shah Hussain and Tasaur Hussain.
However, allegations against one a civil judge Jauhar Ejaz could not be proved.
its only favourtism ..only to gain popularity among the mass that judicery got great achivement..in other sense chief justice had ruined 14 families..its not the way to terminate them.Most of effected judges had given 18 to 20 years of their age for serving judicery.but C.j ruined their life and all services in a second.Its not the justice….He could terminate them for some month as a punishment..But unfortunately c.j proof himself Firon …he deprived 14 families from their living…..Its totally unfair way.kindly stop such type of life termination.Thanks.
miss saira irfan, u r more concerned about ruining the lives of these thirteen termites but what about those poor litigants who waited outside their court room expecting justice from them but they don,t know that person they r seeking justice from have already sold their conscience to MONEY

If the allegations proved against them. Corrupt judges should have been sent to the prison for life.

A person has to act within the limits of his/her job.
Honorable CJ did what he has got from the complaints and after inquiry made a decision.
Termination is not a way to give punishment,
Stoppage of promotion etc was the much more punishment.
Its good decision; if meritious.otherwise not.Black sheeps of department should be dealt strictly; in accordingly laws. I salute courageous cj of peshawar high court.
oh really termination is not the solution to this problem then what is the solution? to allow these termites sucking the blood of poor litigants. i know most of these judges who got terminated and can with certainity that all of them r corrupt to the core.
This seems a poor management, if your finger become wounded would you cut it or cure to heal it.??
Why charges on the 14 judges are not put to public ?
Did the Honorable Chief justis has any hold on the Lawyers?
Who bribes a judge? off course a Lawyer.. who will punish them.
Is there any mechanism to stop a Lawyer from Practice if he was found guilty of bribing a judge, approaching a judge or creating problem for the court? surly a Big Noooo
Majority of the readers and supportive staff of court takes openly bribe can PHC stop this?
Is there any Quality assurance system in the judictiory like random rechecking of the decision ? No
