Karachi: At least six suspects, including two foreign nationals, suspected to be involved in different crimes were detained in Karachi the other day, the police said.
The arrests were made during raids in various areas late at night. Three suspects were rounded up in a raid conducted in Keamari’s Jackson area, the police reported. They have been alleged to be involved in drug peddling. In addition, the officials claimed to have recovered intoxicants from them.
Another suspect arrested from Pakistan Bazar area in Orangi Town is reportedly involved in robberies.
Meanwhile, during another raid carried out by law enforcers in Sharifabad area, two foreign nationals have been arrested. The suspects had alleged to have been staying in the country illegally, the officials said.They added that a case has also been registered against the duo.
