Larkana: 167 students held on using unfair means

The 32 vigilance teams of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana on Friday caught 167 students red-handed while using unfair means in Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I and Part-II (Class XI & XII), Annual Examinations 2017.

These vigilance teams conducted raids at various examination centres of Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Kandhkot-Kashmore, Jacobabad and two talukas of Dadu district including Khairpur Nathan Shah and Mehar, and held 207 students while copying in the Chemistry-II exam.

Besides, the vigilance teams also caught 63 impersonators sitting in the examination centres to solve the papers for actual students.

Meanwhile, the board Chairman Dr Ahmed Ali Brohi on Friday visited various examination centres of the Larkana city to review the examination process. He directed the invigilators and other examination staff that all out efforts should be made to curb cheating and malpractice during the examination.

He advised them to realise their responsibilities and to control cheating and unfair means being used by students during examinations of HSC Part-I & II. The chairman personally visited the examination blocks and witnessed the examination process.
