Russian warship crashes with livestock ship in Black sea, 15 soldiers missing


MOSCOW: A Russian warship has collided with a ship carrying livestock off Istanbul coast in the Black Sea with 15 sailors missing and 45 rescued.

The ministry says the Liman has a hole as a result of the collision that occurred Thursday about 40 kilometres (25 miles) north-west of the Bosphorus Strait.

The ministry statement, carried by Russian news agencies, says none of the crew members is hurt and they are trying to save the ship.
